Hi! i own a seat ibiza with a 1.9 tdi 90hp AGR, year 1999 with 224.000km and running with no problems but a sound appeared 1 month ago. It sounds at idle and when low revs driving on a hill or incline especially, car is working fine so here i have one video with EXACTLY the same sound.. im unable to find the noise, thanks!

update: this is my car, listen well how it sounds

it looks that sounds more when the engine is hot and the engine sounds "bad"
at LOW rpm like 1200-1400 in 2 or 3rd gear for example, when im increasing speed veery soft doesnt sound, but if i I step on the accelerator asking for more strength, it sounds

UPDATE
The noise was coming from the tappes, new tappets and solved!!
new oil too, 5w40 castrol magnatec and better sound from the engine

My first tought was something in the serpentine belt track is going out of round or gave all it's grease to the fine dust all over your engine bay :)

One trick is to take a cardboard tube, or any kind of tube, and put it to your ear and go over your whole engine bay. Great way to find the locations of tiny noises. I have used the tube from a paper towel holder with a bit of paper towels still on to help insulate the tube and better pinpoint the sound.

Could be a pulley bearing or ?
You can run the engine with the serpentine belt removed to help isolate.
For me a small hose-in-ear works better than a stethoscope for locating the source.

Maybe from the alternator? The tensioner is new, you can hear the sound more inside the car than in front of the motor

Almost sounds like the metallic sound of the flexible part of the EGR pipe with a crack, drove me nuts when I had a tiny crack and made some weird sounds.
oh have to check that! this is how my egr was

egr at the right and flex pipe at left, intake manifold was clean just dirt on the walls

im 90% sure that the noise comes from inside of the engine, like lifters o or something loose in that area
