Any folks here in the US that have a turbo and injector setup from GotTuned? I'm looking to upgrade here in a bit, and weighing my options.

Any reason not to go with them?

I actually didn’t. I assumed the seller I dealt with on eBay was got tuned being a polish company with the same products... but I was wrong it appears. The turbo I got was actually wrong for application, so they are sending new Monday. The first turbo appears to be good deal especially for the Price point. And the reason it was wrong is technically no ones fault just an oversight to the market. Apparently other parts of the world got a bew WITH a dpf. So the first turbo had a beefier manifold (doesn’t “clear” intake manifold and slightly diff oil return. They are shipping a corrected application without first receiving incorrect turbo. I’ll report back once new turbo shows.

Whatcha' gonna' get?

I still haven't decided, but it's between a GTD1756VRK and a GTB2060VKLR. Right now the engine will be happy in my mint 02 Jetta, but may eventually live in my CJ7. I like the idea of the GTB2060VKLR as it will also help warm up the coolant faster, but wonder if it might be too much turbo for a CJ. This can also be remedied by just lowering the boost and fueling. I also like the idea of the flange as I can throw it on my mill, machine it to a perfect fit for the current downpipe I have, and then weld it up to make it look really nice.

It looks like I'm leaning more towards the 2060 and some 260 injectors, lol.

I was back and forth quite a bit and although I haven’t run it yet, seems 2060vklr is happy medium of all aspects.... hopefully have a encouraging review soon enough

Cuban,
Cool! Going in to a Jeep. My "new to me" Liberty has a VNT2060VB.
No plans for any kind of upgrades on the vehicle, just hope the high mileage
motor proves reliable.
In the Golf I keep eyeing off a ball bearing 1752, but my current setup is
running so well, I really shouldn't touch it. The Pioneering Performance
manifold looks interesting too, their 2060 would be a possibility, but then
I should undoubtedly be beefing up the motor.
Cheers gents!

here is my cj as it sits now (although I did just throw on a Sniper EFI). Since I just paid for this motor while I was deployed last, it didn't make sense to pull it back out to put the ALH in. So for now, the car will suffice.

I have rods that I need to install, a Colt Stage 2, and I'm waiting on a head gasket and new timing belt for the car (plus I have an upgraded oil cooler, and have to replace the trans axle seals). It's a fun little car the way it sits now, but I think it could be more fun.

How do you figure?

...but wonder if it might be too much turbo for a CJ.
it will be softer at the low end that's for sure like slower spool, lower surge margin and lower peak torque under, say, 3000 RPM

TDIMeister, I suspect he's counting on running coolant through it to make the contribution.
cheers,

GTD1756VRK purchased from Gottuned over two years ago. Great turbo, runs circles around the 1722 I had previously. Kept the Bosio 502s' but had them cleaned up and tested just for sure. Run RC4 which is conservative for this setup but I know the boost point, the wife drives the lower end so I wanted a conservative tune so she would no blow it up! Great service from Gottuned and the product is well thought out and setup correctly.
