does anyone have a clutch alignmen+flywheel holding tool for an 02j they can lend me?
To counter-hold the flywheel, just use one of the pressure plate bolts and one of the bell housing bolts with a wrench between them. Works like a charm! -

Timing Belt Paranoia
Yup, that fabric pattern is exactly what I'm talking about: The diagonal lines on the belt. Each line appears to be a tiny hair-line crack on the back of the belt. And no, did not notice any paint on the pulleys, but wasn't really looking for it. Nothing of the such jumped out at me... -
